MNREM is pleased to be a part of the Minnesota Intelligent Rural Communities Coalition – a group spearheaded by the Blandin Foundation to promote and facilitate broadband use and adoption in rural Minnesota. In 2010, the MIRC project received funding from the ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) BTOP (Broadband Technology Opportunities Program) fund.
MNREM will specifically be looking at helping businesses in the renewable energy sector learn more about how broadband can be a boon to their business.
